Video: State of the Coast Launch Event

The inaugural State of the Coast report, focused on sea level rise and storm surge impacts affecting 13 coastal zone communities on the North Shore, is designed to be a comprehensive and accessible guiding resource that can stimulate discussion, action, and engagement among public officials, conservation partners, residents, and others.

The findings of this report were announced on August 20, 2020 at a press event attended by Massachusetts Energy and Environmental Affairs Secretary Kathleen Theoharides, state Senate Minority Leader Bruce E. Tarr of Gloucester, state Rep. Brad Hill of Ipswich, Ipswich Town Manager Anthony Marino, and Breckinridge Capital Advisors President and Trustees Board of Directors Chair Peter Coffin, the report’s sponsor.
